What this site collects, and why

When you ask to hear from Barbie, we keep your email address, your first name if you give it, the list you joined, and the time you ticked the consent box. That is all.

Addresses go to Barbie's email list, which is run by Constant Contact. If the connection to Constant Contact is not available at the moment you sign up, the same details are emailed to Barbie and added to the list by hand.

Every email from the list has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also write to the studio and ask to be removed, and it will be done.

Your name, email address, the topic you chose, and your message are emailed to Barbie so she can reply. The email is sent through Resend, a transactional email service. A short record of the message — when it arrived and who it was from — is kept in the site's server logs for a limited time so that nothing is lost if email fails.

Messages are not added to any mailing list.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not set cookies, does not identify you, and does not follow you to other sites. Your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated form submissions and is not stored.

There are no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no third-party scripts beyond the analytics above. Fonts are served from this site, not from a font network.

If you choose a light or dark look with the switch in the footer, that choice is kept in your browser and nowhere else.

This site is written for adults. It does not knowingly collect information from or about children, and it never asks for a child's details. Healing Rooms Kids handles its own enrollment with parents, on its own site.

Write to the studio at 113 East Center Street, Madisonville, KY, call 270-871-4893, or use the contact form. If this page changes, the effective date at the top changes with it.
